PLANT 2030 Status Seminar 2018 in Potsdam

Potsdam, Germany

Also in this year, DPPN was presented comprehensively on the Plant 2030 Status Seminar from 5th to 7th of February 2018 in Potsdam.

The PLANT 2030 Status Seminar is the annual meeting of plant research initiatives funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). This year the PLANT 2030 Status Seminar took place from the 5th to 7th of February 2018 in Potsdam. As in the last years, DPPN attended at this meeting to present the project progress of DPPN and to give an outlook of how to proceed with DPPN as a national Plant Phenotyping Platform of Germany. The DPPN session was on Tuesday, February 6th 2018. Additionally to oral presentations, DPPN presented the project progress within the poster session. We gave an overview of the technological developments within the DPPN project and presented applications of the phenotyping facilities at the three DPPN nodes. Because the DPPN project with the establishment of all research infrastructures will come to an end in 2018, we focus also on general access modalities and how to serve a German, European and global plant phenotyping community.

The next PLANT 2030 Status Seminar 2019 will be held in March 13-15, 2019 in Potsdam. For more information about the last PLANT 2030 Status Seminar 2018 and the program, please visit
