Hendrik Albrecht (IBG-2, Forschungszentrum Jülich) was awarded the 1st price for the best short presentation (“elevator pitch”). Hendrik proved impressive communication skills in presenting the scientific idea of his PhD work in a catchy and interesting way for the auditorium within just 2 minutes. He competed with 20 other young scientist from a wide variety of plant and soil researches from BMBF funded research. Hendrik was as successful as Johanna Roussel, who was among the prize winners in last year´s competition. The real challenge however will be the decision on what the price-money of 500 Euro will be reasonably spent. Congratulations!
